Synopsis

Top tier b-schools across India have increased the intake of MBA students steadily for the last 5 years. In view of the remote location of campus, the administration has made different facilities available inside the campus. Due to large number of students availing this facility, the students face issues such as queues in counters, the need for the exact amount of money to buy any product and the need to carry cash each time one feels the need to avail any such facility. This case presents a solution to reduce the load at each counter by digitalizing the campus in an effective manner.

Learning Objectives

The objective is to make students apply mobile cashless payment for online transactions.

The case can be used for ‘E-Governance’ or ‘M-Commerce’ course which will be useful for students who are intending to specialize in the field of Information Systems Management.

Abstract

India has witnessed a surge in demand for management students in recent times. As a result, top-tier B-schools across India have increased the intake of MBA students steadily for the last 5 years. However, due to the obvious need for space, the master plan of these institutions provisioned in such a way so as to accommodate the rise in intake in the coming years.
