“Study the past, if you would divine the future”, said the famous Chinese Philosopher Confucius centuries ago. The Spannish-American philosopher, George Santayana said, “Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it”. The classroom learnings can be made to be long-lasting with relevant dosages of business history. While every theoretical construct / management subject is replete with history, an appropriate usage of them would enable the active learners to appreciate the depth of relevance of a subject, a concept or an event. A participant would be well placed to make a right decision in the light of relevant historical connotations surrounding a particular business decision.
