Managing Employee Turnover

N. Gopi and M. Anjaneyulu founded ‘Develop Computing’, a small computer repair and upgrades business in Hyderabad in 2013. Although they lacked experience in the field, the Founders were highly skilled both in – hardware and software. With confidence in their skills and hard work, the duo managed to earn a decent living from the business for a number of years.

Gopi completed most of the administrative work while Anjaneyulu took care of the repairing part. They saved on expenses by operating the business from home and by using a bike to travel to customers’ homes and workplaces to carry out repairs and upgrades.

Develop Computing received many orders frequently and the business was growing especially due to word-of-mouth publicity. With the business growing, both of them found it difficult to manage the business on their own, and decided to recruit few employees – as computer technicians to help them repair hardware/upgrade software as well as technical advisors to attend customers over the phone with the computer issues..................
